WALDGEFLÜSTER are departing from their origins and are leaving behind the more traditional black metal influences in favour of a promising, unbridled sound. “Ruinen” is a wonderful, melancholy journey on which WALDGEFLÜSTER can reach a new level. A level at which the atmospheric sounds of folk metal from artists such as "Falls of Rauros" and "Panopticon” merge with the classic doom/post metal influence from artists such as “Anathema” and “Katatonia”.
