by Lothar Landt (05/02) Sure, with such a career it has to be a double album. Mighty Dave Mustaine presents a raw live album bursting for highlights. Which is only logical with the history of the band. Of course, one could argue about the track list, one or the other personal favourite might be missing but then you can't please everyone, can you? At least, the two discs are very balanced, presenting all eras of the band. "Peace sells ... but who's buying", "Symphony of destruction", "Tornado of souls", "Wake up dead", "Kill the king", "Angry again" or "Trust", you could easily extend that list to the 24 tracks. The production has consciously been kept simple instead of overdubbing everything in the studio afterwards. Especially the vocals and the guitars are very rough! Megadeth, that is proven by this document, is one of the few remaining Metal bands that you still have to have on your list. As long as Dave Mustaine concentrates on the music, it's hard to top this man, no matter what team is behind him.
