Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Frost, Jack Frost! Beside his second ì occupation Seven Witches, Frost now releases his second solo album. That this ì guy "lives" metal should be known by now but what he delivered here on "Raise ì your fist to metal" outlives his released material by far. The album title ì states its program. The guitars circle like hell-swords. Frost invited several ì of his companions into the studio such as Gonzo Sandoval (Armored Saint, Life ì After Death), Johnny Dee (Doro, Britny Fox, Waysted), Joey Vera (Armored Saint, ì Fates Warning), Mike LePond (Symphony X), Harry Hess (Harem Scarem), Joe Comeau ì (Annihilator, Overkill) and Rob Rock (Impellittari, Warrior, Axel Rudi Pell). ì The number of well-known guests is not supposed to be influence your purchasing ì decision because the song material is much too good in itself, anyway. Edgy, riff-based ì power metal the way it is supposed to sound like. Already the opener "Stay", a top ì range power metal killer proves how power metal is defined in the house of Frost. ì The variation by the many singers brings in a permanent variety and the ì domination of different accents make "Raise your fist to metal" an absolute ì highlight album!
