The Swedish band Afflicted amazed the death metal scene in 1992 with their highly acclaimed debut album 'Prodigal Sun'. After years of being unavailable, 'Prodigal Sun' now shines in a new light with a spectacular, faithful remaster by Patrick W. Engel (Corrosion of Conformity, Destruction) at the Temple of Disharmony Studios. If Napalm Death, Soundgarden, Voivod, and Pink Floyd were to embark on a collective Peyote trip in the wooded suburbs of Stockholm, the result would be Afflicted's groundbreaking 'Prodigal Sun'.
