by Markus Eck (10.04.2008) Heavy, wild, and bull-like Crust Hardcore Punk is what the four veterans of Venomous Concept celebrate on this album named "Poisoned apple", a clear allusion or pun on the unforgotten Poison Idea. Featured on their current, second battering fest, are also Shane Embury and Danny Herrera of Napalm Death as well as the well known Brutal Truth-guys, Kevin Sharp and Danny Lilker. The oftentimes Thrashy blast-compositions of the four playful Punk berserks have simplest structures because everything that counts is just: boundless attitude! Anyway: this wild rushing noise record sounds so heavy and dangerous that I would almost recommend face-mask – because this is so right-between-our-yes-material that you should listen carefully!
