13.In Your Wildest Dreams (Video) (Data Track)
by Oliver Kube (29.01.2009) Hiding behind the project name Places Of Power: two names well-known to the Mainstream and Classic Rock following. At the mike: Phil Bardowell (Unruly Child / Magdalen) His phrasing reminds you positively of ex-Foreigner front man Lou Gramm - be it during some calmer parts ("Always", "Light of my world") or more Rock-oriented material (check out epic anthems like "I live for you" oder "One day"). It suits him well, of course, that multi-instrumenalist Bruce Turgon is at his side: that bloke has worked together with Gramm again and again since the 70s: first during the Black Sheep-days, later with Shadowking, with Foreigner, and also his solo releases... "Now is the hour" with its epic and dramatic sound and compositions, produced by Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Bob Catley), would also have been a perfect 80s album. And you AOR fans out there know that this is meant as a compliment and not by any means derogatory!
