The Onkelz are back. The 2 Blu-ray version of "Nichts ist für die Ewigkeit - Live am Hockenheimring 2014" comes as premium media book with blind stamp + slipcase as well as a booklet of 24 pages and it contains the legendary concert and a documentation.

January 2014 was the month in which this well-kept secret was revealed. They were back again, fresher than ever. E.I.N.S. again - friends again. Bridges, where there were still trenches. The tickets for the reunion concert on 20.06. and 21.6. at the Hockenheimring were sold out in record time. The planning of the mammoth event was a logistical master stroke, at all levels. Then it was there, the big day. The weekend. The first lucky guests who already had access to the concert area at the ring on Thursday, could admire „IT“, all to themselves: The beast. The “stage". This thing, optically aligned on the skyline in Frankfurt, the home base of the Böhsen Onkelz. Then the intro. With orchestral accompaniment of the "Neuen Philharmonie Frankfurt" there was "28". Then "Hier sind die Onkelz". The opener, it has to be that one. There was no way around it. The set in general: Many, many surprises. "Der Himmel kann warten", "Hast du Sehnsucht nach der Nadel", "Der Preis des Lebens". Only a few of many examples. The orchestra played along. Gave many songs a new sound colour, Goosebumps everywhere. Even then, when the Onkelz played their quieter classics on the small stage in the middle of the crowd. "Wieder mal nen Tag verschenkt", "Ich bin in Dir", "Bin ich nur glücklich wenn es schmerzt" and, for the first time ever, "Nichts ist für immer da". Moses Pelham, friend of the „family“ and one of the first German rappers ever, was the guest on "Koma". The finale, suitable to the parallel running World Cup preliminary round of the Jogi-Eleven against Ghana, rang in the evergreen "Mexico". Of course. Confetti rain. Pogo, everywhere. Finally, there was the song that marked the finish of an Onkelz-set and set sail in a new level of consciousness of the band and the fans.
"Nichts ist für die Ewigkeit" - it wasn’t just the slogan of the reunion. The serpent Ouroboros biting its own tail, was represented everywhere. On the many ring-utensils and on the screens. "Nichts ist für die Ewigkeit" was a promise to stay of four guys from Frankfurt. Again the orchestra, played fantastic and the band in the best mood to play. Gonzo and Stephan together, as if there had never been a break or differences. Kevin highly motivated, the vocals, very self-confident. A real front man. The last sounds. Incredulity and gratitude. They’re back.
Baja, played by the Neuen Philharmonie Frankfurt, fireworks. End. Take a deep breath. Process.
Stephan Weidner’s quote: "All our critics, we can give them only one to take along: We are fine. And: We stay!"
