by Lothar Landt (10.01.2007) "Netherworlds" is already the fourth album; the nine songs reveal clear NWOBHM-influences. Already the opener starts a bit MotΓΆrhead-like before it also pays tribute to Iron Maiden. Singer Tony Taylor sometimes reminds me of the early Geoff Tate. At the same time, T.T.D. has enough uniqueness, too. "Dire wolf" is a simple riff rocker with great solos, "Fortress" starts with a cool riff that also turns into a solo. The choirs are quite pompous, the structure again quite simple. T.T.D. manages to achieve great effects with simple means. "Killing kind" is a true power rocker beginning with a fantastic part, a great track! In the title song the quintet increases the pace. The 6-minute song is another highlight. T.T.D. is a team of great song writers and they obviously don't deny their ideals. The five rather concentrate on melodies than on heaviness, but do without bigger use of keyboards. "Netherworlds" is a great album that should definitely please all traditional Metal fans.
