Following in the footsteps of Albrecht Dürer - the new album from Symphonic Metal institution SERENITY!

SERENITY are back with a new opus and once again embark on a symphonic journey through time! Nemesis AD is a worthy successor to the successful album The Last Knight (2020), which reached number 25 on the German charts. After recruiting Marco Pastorino (Temperance) as an additional guitarist and backing vocalist, Austrian SERENITY immerse themselves in the world of the Renaissance on their new studio album, which will be released on October 27, 2023. They dedicate themselves to the life and art of the famous German painter Albrecht Dürer and present their own musical interpretation of it.

With the furious opener 'Memoriae Alberti Dureri', SERENITY immediately set the tone for the entire album. Immediately following is the no less impressive 'The Fall of Man', where the band is complemented by the brilliant singer Roy Khan (Conception, ex-Kamelot). With 'Ritter, Tod und Teufel,' a track named after a work by Dürer, the symphonic meheighters have a special surprise in store: for the first time in their 20-year history of success, they perform in German! The track is accompanied by electrifying guitar riffs, orchestral arrangements, and powerful vocal performances. The emotional 'Reflections (of AD)' captivates the listener with rapid changes of excellent instrumentation and versatile singing, while the fantastic performance by singer Georg Neuhauser on 'Sun of Justice' transports the listener to distant worlds. The finale is the dark track 'The End of Babylon' and the impressive orchestral version of 'The Fall of Man' that sends shivers down your spine!

With their new studio album Nemesis AD, SERENITY expands their impressive discography with a bombastic symphonic metal masterpiece and once again reaffirm their established status in the scene.
