Motivated by the high expectations of critics and fans, BAEST deliver their most highly anticipated and perhaps most important album to date. The result is impressive and can only be described as world-class. 'Necro Sapiens' manages to surpass its two predecessors, with which the Danes had already made important statements.

Songs like 'Abattoir', 'Meathook Masacre', and the eponymous title track 'Necro Sapiens' make the death metal heart beat faster and pay tribute to genre legends like Morbid Angel and Bloodbath. Nevertheless, new influences can also be found on tracks like 'Genesis', which are rather unconventional for BAEST. The fantastic artwork by Mitchell Nolte (Aborted, Vampire) once again emphasizes that BAEST mean business with this full-length album.
