by Oliver Kirchner (13.07.2006) Roger Miret - a name that everybody should connect with Agnostic Front, Madball or Lady Luck. But that the guy with the probably most feeblest way to sing also releases his third album with his troop, Roger Miret & The Disasters , may still be an insider tip. In 2002, the first sign of life of this street punk formation was released still with a different line-up. Roger was raised with punk rock and so this is what you hear: melodic street punk of the early 80s, performed with a lot of heartblood and variation that immediately sets you back some years. Fans of the Clash, Sham 69, The Business, or also Rancid, Dropkick Murphys or, of course, Agnostic Front will cry for joy. Vocally, Mr. Miret serves some clearly more melodic tunes than in Agnostic Front, of course, but that is obviously another strength of the hardcore icon.
