Only one year after their tremendous album "Zur Sonne - Zur Freiheit" (To Sun - To Freedom), 'Down Below' release their fifth work "Mutter Sturm" (Mother Storm) - with some further brave and consequent changes this is possibly the best output the band from Dessau-Roßlau ever published. The guiding theme of the 12 songs is, as the name already gives away, the force of the water and the ravenous power of the wind. 'Down Below' are not afraid of recollecting their early days which they are combining with new influences, hardness and great melodies. Epic orchestral segments are present on "Zur Sonne - Zur Freiheit" as well as synthetic soundscapes - 'Down Below' again presents their talent for great images and distinct music while literally going back to the roots.
