"Monster" CD by X-Wild

In 1993, three former members of the internationally renowned German metal band Running Wild decided to form a new band called X-Wild. In search of a suitable vocalist, they found Frank Knight from Manchester, England. They met multiple times in Rendsburg, in Northern Germany, for songwriting sessions before heading to the studio to record their debut album 'So What!'. The recordings took place at the famous Studio M in Machtsum near Hildesheim, in November/December 1993. This studio was also where the two most successful Running Wild albums, 'Death Or Glory' and 'Blazon Stone,' were recorded. It was even produced and mixed by the same person, Jan Nemec. Never change a winning team! After the success of their debut album, they returned to the studio in 1995 to record their second album called 'Monster Effect'. Once again, they chose the Studio M, which had by then relocated to Celle, Germany. The recordings were made with the same team as the first album. After the release of 'Monster Effect,' the band went on a European Tour as a special guest for the German band Grave Digger to promote the album.
