by Markus Eck (July 2005) This musically quite self-willed quartet from Finland seems to take the hearts of the Metal fans by storm. Because once you leave the strange band name and the quite dramatic album cover behind, their colourful, melodic debut album, "Metallitotuus" reveals numerous reviving listening moments of powerful quality material. With some a Manowar-heavy weight and the irresistible charms of sworn conviction perpetrators, the four Finns perform successfully through all stylistic edges of the genre. The contained 12 compositions are performed with pride in their own tongue. Bassist and singer Jarkko Ahola often presumes in relishing siren-like screams, but at the same time he has a very remarkable and variable voice. If you like the warlike epic of Manowar as well as typically Finnish, means great, guitar-orientated music you should check this one out - especially the third track, "Taivas lyö tulta", the first single. I really like this remarkably well-done collection of all sorts of Metal clichés! (Markus Eck - July 2005)
