by Matthias Becker (07.01.2008) They have always been something special. In 1983, Manowar signed their second record deal with Megaforce with blood. At least as much heartblood was also put by the guys into the production of their seventh DVD, recorded on 07.07.2007 in the German Bad Arolsen. Since the European Spectacle Of Might-Tour, 1985, Manowar have claimed the title "loudest band in the world". On 08.03.1994, a noise pressure level of 129.5 decibel was counted in the Music Hall in Hannover without audience. With an audience, the noise level usually varies between 115 and 120 decibel at Manowar-concerts. In Bad Arolsen, a 250.000 Watt PA and 443.000 Watt light power set the scene. The atmosphere of the True-Metal-adventure, "Magic Circus Festival" was recorded by Neil Johnson (who was also responsible for the video for "Warriors of the world united") in complete HD-quality with 27 cameras. 400 minutes of playing time on two DVDs should provide all fans with enormous goose flesh attacks.
