by William Bonney (14.04.2008) After the predecessor, "Kingwood", the Millencolin guys release their seventh studio album, "Machine 15". It is very experimental, and yet, the typical Millencolin-sound is omnipresent. A successful concept that is clearly dominated and stamped by the voice of their frontman, Nikola Sarcevic. By their solo projects, Nikola Sarcevic, Mathias Fรคrm, Frederik Larzon and Erik Ohlssen have permanently progressed, consequently, the new album sounds more solid, grown up and more serious than the bandโ€™s earlier records. The album contains many hit-compatible songs, too. There are strings in the song, "Done is done" and the song, "Detox" could also be at home on an album of Good Charlotte. But these are only two of a total of 15 new sounding Millencolin-songs. The others are characterised by the typical Punk-Rock-mixture. "Machine 15" is a very variable Millencolin-album that will make the Punk Rock fansโ€™ hearts beat faster and that shouldnโ€™t be missing in any record collection.
