by Matthias Mineur (null) Just in time for the renaissance of German Thrash Metal that bands like Destruction and Mille Petrozza's Kreator take profit from, also Sodom return in old strengths. Inspired by the politically problematic situation in Vietnam, that country still suffering the invasion of the U.S. troops, Napalm bombs and burning villages. So, also Tom Angelripper (vocals, bass), Bernemann (guitar) and Bobby Schottkowski (drums) dedicate to this topic. In heavy Thrash Metal-attacks, like "Among the weirdkong", "I am the war", "Napalm in the morning" or "Cannon fodder", Sodom have pumped up the volume again with passion. A final authenticity was provided at two gigs in Saigon and Bangkok, where the members also informed themselves about the past and presence of the land. Angelripper ain't nobody for half-wisdom, whatever he picks up has hand and foot. Like also "M-16", a adventure of the purest Thrash Metal-kind.
