After three years of silence, the stoner / doom metal titans 'High On Fire' are back with the organic new album "Luminiferous", produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Torche, Kvelertak)! Riff for riff front man Matt Pike (who still sounds like a fucked up, young Lemmy) and his men wallow in the morass of the genre and play sweaty anthems for guys, who consider the use of deodorant as an assault to their bodies and misbehave with beer in their beards, while listening to the clearly Motörhead-influenced songs. True riffs for real men, gnawed doom from the gutter - or if we like to quote the American Rolling Stone magazine: "Matt Pike is the guitar god of a generation of bikers, barbarians and beardos, and "Luminiferous" is one of their best moments. Full of gruff He-Man-roaring and muscular Motörhead riffs that would make the perfect soundtrack for the 666th season of Game Of Thrones." That sums it up pretty well!
