The band Lifesick, founded in 2015 in Fredericia, Denmark, creates brutal and brutally honest songs with lyrics inspired by the turbulent nature of life. Musically influenced by Swedish Death Metal, Lifesick's authentic and explosive blend of crushing sounds and modern breakdowns creates an uncompromising sound and vision. The Metal Blade debut of the band, the three-song EP Love and Other Lies, is the successor to Lifesick's critically acclaimed 2022 Misanthropy LP, an album hailed by the press as an absolute barnburner " overflowing with buzzsaw riffs, blistering blast beats, crushing breakdowns, and brutal, barking vocals."
