Beside his continuing success with Die Ärzte he finished his second solo album with the 'Farin Urlaub Racing Team'as well as a giant and successful tour. Reason enough to capture the great impressions of this tour - and ain't there a better way than with a live album? “Livealbum of death“ is a work of genius: of course, it contains all classics of the two solo albums in sometimes completely new arrangements as well as some of the b-sides that make clear that they were completely misplaced and underrepresented there. But above all, “Livealbum of death“ proves clearly: Farin and his fellows have become a real working band that perfectly harmonises. And you can see that these guys have fun in what they're doing on stage and how good they understand to capture the attention of the audience. Well done!
