by Oliver Kube (08.04.2008) It was in spring, 2007, that the Pop Punks had their number one album "Infinity on high" in the national charts reaching a lot of fans and respectable chart positions all over the world, too. Now, the Chicago based troop release a very interesting live-DVD (also available on audio cd!). Recorded on 22. June, 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona, the band had not only hitters, like "We’re going down", "This ain’t a scene, it’s an arms race" and "The carpal tunnel of love" in store. Repeatedly, they wove in some popular covers, too. Beside funny adaptations of rapper, Timbaland’s "One and only" and the Panic-at-the-Disco-song, "I write sins not tragedies", you also get the new single, a powerful interpretation of the Michael-Jackson-hit, "Beat it". Bonus features are eight video clips, a 45-minute "Behind the scenes"-documentation plus an audio cd featuring four more songs and the studio version of "Beat it", featuring the US-Singer/Songwriter, John Mayer, too.
