    Redemption song

by Christian Bezdekovsky (10/01) I admit, I'm no big fan of live-recordings because the sound quality is not Γ¬ very good in most cases, the songs are know, anyway and the true concert-Γ¬ feeling is just not happening. And now, N.U.F.A.N. begin their new "Live in a Γ¬ dive"-series on Fat Wreck Chords ... and show that it can be different: the Γ¬ sound is almost brilliant, and already after the first seconds the shivers Γ¬ run down my spine like i August of last year when the Americans entered the Γ¬ stage in Hannover. On the impressive set-list you'll find not only tracks Γ¬ from their last album, but also classics like "Don't miss the train" - all Γ¬ killers, no fillers! Additionally, there is the comic drawn by the band Γ¬ members in the booklet plus some video-sequences on the enhanced part of the Γ¬ c.d.. For true N.U.F.A.N.-fans a must indeed ... and in my opinion the best Γ¬ live-album since "I heard they suck - LIVE" of NoFx! (Christian Γ¬ Bezdekovsky - 10/01)
