by Matthias Becker (19.01.2007) A mixture of live and TV shows of the probably most influential band in Punk Rock. The about one and a half hours are being filled with the essence of tours over mini- and mega-stages and countless film scraps from behind the scenes. The home video quality of the early 90s may not be state of the art anymore but the decision for "Drain you", "Endless nameless" as well as "Love buzz" relate the problem. This is the living proof of the typical destructive orgies of the cult band and as an extra you get previously unreleased material of a live gig in the Amsterdam Paradiso Club in 1992. The special thing about this DVD is the compilation contrary to commercial decisions. After the success of "Nevermind", the video tape was supposed to be released under supervision of the band members. Kurt Cobain chose the live-sequences, Dave Grohl and Kris Novoelic searched the private collections - resulting in this great whole. Even the recording of a stage fight was included.
