In June 2023, Duff McKagan will release the first single and title track 'Lighthouse' from his upcoming album 'Lighthouse' (to be released in October 2023). 'Lighthouse' is the first full-length album created in McKagan's private studio, featuring 11 songs that vary in tone and scope, following the direction of his 2019 album 'Tenderness'. 'I have found a place where I feel comfortable expressing how I want my own music to sound,' says McKagan. 'These are really just simple punk songs that don't need my screaming. The topics are diverse, but you will see and hear that for yourselves. The idea of starting this record with an ode to my wife and ending with an ode to life embodies the two things I love the most.
