Started as a side project in 1998 after the dissolution of the band Seelenkrank, today, almost 25 years later, the Berlin dark pop band BLUTENGEL celebrates huge success and has already given fans countless goosebumps moments.
Although the 25th anniversary of the band is only next year, Blutengel and we are already starting the celebrations with a very special action. Since most of the older albums have been sold out for a long time, Blutengel and us have embarked on a journey through the band's history and had the first albums remastered. So, if you still miss one or the other album in your collection, now is the very last chance to secure one of these musical gems. With already 4 reissues from Blutengel's musical past released, we now continue with 'Labyrinth' - the 5th studio album by Blutengel, which was released in 2007 and featured Ulrike Goldmann as an additional singer for the first time. 'Engelsblut' was one of the biggest hits on 'Labyrinth' and thus marked the breakthrough for the band Blutengel.
Packaged as a Digipak double CD, these remasters will be released in a very limited quantity, making the hearts of the Blutengel family beat faster. However, the second CD of the double pack makes these reissues an absolute highlight for all Chris & Ulrike fans, as they also include rare compilation tracks as well as songs from long out-of-print maxi and bonus CDs from that respective era.
