The quartet based around founding members Ladde (vocals) and OLE (guitar) has been making trouble in the musical world since 1986. The legendary first demo "Trinker An Die Macht" (1987) let them debut in the crowd of bibulous punk, metal and rock fans. With congenial acts like TANKARD (aka TANKWART), A.O.K. or several (ONKEL) TOM ANGELRIPPER projects they created a reliable sub genre. Although being particularly celebrated by metal fans, the band from Bremen has stayed in punk. The lyrics can be found in a sub-proletarian world of experience between the consumption of intoxicants, sexuality and social decline, which makes the 'Dimple Minds' surely spiritual brothers of bands like LOKALMATADORE or KASSIERER. Surfacing after their last big successes in the nineties, they released their last album "Toleranz Ist heilbar" seven years ago. Their new bass player TIM has been incorporated and the old hands are back with eleven usually violently and humorous crackers. "Krank Not Dead" is a really fresh and snappy punk rock album. On the musical side, the 'Dimple Minds' have stayed true to themselves, but make clear that a certain experience has established itself regarding song writing, joy of playing and stylistic assurance. Apart from their lyrics, whose field of topics is conceptually firm, numbers like "Autopilot", "Flotter Dreier", "Panzerschokolade", or "Zugriff, Boys!" are truly juicy punk rock hits and you have to acknowledge that this band has a lot to offer. Pure punk!
