by Florian Drees (23.01.2008) It was time for it! After three years, Jamey Jasta (vocals), singer from Hatebreed and Icepick and Kirk Windstein (vocals/guitar/bass) from Down and Crowbar managed to release an album with their side-project, Kingdom Of Sorrow. They have long sought for an adequate label and found it in Relapse Records celebrating their debut with a worldwide contract. With their self titled debut, Kingdom Of Sorrow come raging with a piece of hate sweeping everything away that comes their way. Hardcore-Power meets ears because the album as recorded in the known Planet Z Studios in Massachusetts by Zeuss, who has been responsible for some a Hatebreed- and Shadows Fall-CDs, too. Listening tips are "Begging for the truth" and "Buried in black"! A must-have for fans of Hatebreed and Crowbar, for all others a great start into the year 2008 that you shouldn't miss.
