"King", the new album by the masters of symphonic Extreme Metal, was recorded last summer in the studios Kick Recording and 16th Cellar in Rome - the opus was mixed and mastered by sound maven Jens Bogren in his Fascination Street Studios (Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, At The Gates etc.). The blokes have risen the bar even higher on their latest output, presenting themselves more seasoned, homogeneous and more versatile than ever. Drummer / main song writer Francesco Paoli agrees: "I think the music world needs people who work harder on their material and that's exactly what Fleshgod Apocalypse will do in the 'new Medieval' era.. At the end of the day, quality is the ultimate goal!"
