by Jürgen Tschamler (21.07.2008) If I’m right, it’s already seven years since Album "Organized chaos" has seen the light of day... That’s sad - but all the more I am surprised by the quality of Benediction’s new album "Killing music". They’re one of Britain’s veteran Death Metal bands, but they still seem to have it in them! "Killing music" is an appropriate title for these 14 songs. This is old school Death Metal, not only consisting of speed and shredding, but also of double bass flak and brutal riffs. No "we’re so versatile, intricate and playful you wouldn’t believe it" parts - classical Death action with monstrous riff attacks and sheer power rules. Guest apperances: Karl Willets (Bolt Thrower), Kelly Shaefer (Atheist) and Billy Gould (ex-Faith No More), among others. The limited edition features two songs more, by the way!
