Excellent Service

With their seventh studio work Deine Lakaien succeeded to increase the dense atmosphere of their quiet songs. Alexander Veljanov and Ernst Horn presented "Kasmodiah" in 1999 so persuasive that the album immediately got on place four in the German longplayer charts. No bad buy!

by Martin (04/99) It has been done! The new Deine Lakaien album "Kasmodiah" is a smooth and catchy album with loose rhythms and melancholy songs. Unfortunately, I only received a promo sampler and not the final version of the album but I would even go as far as saying that it includes almost nothing but hits like e.g. the single "Return". For "Kasmodiah", Alexander Veljanov and Ernst Horn invited their live musicians Michael Popp and Christian Komorowski into the studio for the first time and the quintet did a good job as far as I am concerned. Anyway, I am really looking forward to the final version of the output. (Martin) Γ¬
