by Jürgen Tschamler (21.12.2005) The guys from Västeräs have put new accents to their sound which has some positive effects on the new album, “Kamikaze love reducer“. The number of full speed tracks was reduced, instead they come up with two, three songs, that I wouldn't have expected from the quartet. Like, e.g. the earwig, “When this world is dying“, a melancholic and very intense song. Or also “The black river Song“, that after some listening turns out to be a true singalong chant and consequently is a guarantee for a good party. Contrasting that are speed shells, like “On the stereo“ and “Like a fake heart love reaction“, the latter being the highlight of the album, by the way! One of the best tracks the Swedes have ever written! Despite its fast pace an absolute earwig! None of the ten tracks is disappointing, again the guys have delivered ten times high scores making clear that you can truly absolutely rely on Psychopunch. No tricks, no gimmicks, just pure adrenaline Rock'n'Roll with all consequences!
