16.Vorbei ist vorbei
by Michael Loesl (28.09.2007) After four years of silence, the first harbinger on the new album will satisfy all expectations. Because this is to defend the title "best band of the world". "Junge" is the statement that both young and old Die Ärzte fans would immediately attach their signature to. For the rest, the band don't give a shit for expectations, let anarchy rule in the best sense on "Jazz ist anders". Because the three who call themselves Die Ärzte, simply release the most beautiful Pop album in their career. Carpe Diem is the motto of the 16 new songs. Embedded between the challenging opener, "Himmelblau" and the blissful finale in "Vorbei ist vorbei", you find everything that you had wished for since the last album of BelaFarinRod: Rock'n'Roll, pathos, intelligent antagonism, easy funk, with "Tu das nicht" and "Niedliches Liebeslied" the nicest, musical absurdities, and a trio that obviously had a lot of fun in their own music.
