Excellent Service
The band was formed by none other than AMON AMARTH drummer Fredrik Andersson in 2005. The qualities of THIS ENDING are best documented with the following story: They recorded a three-track demo and sent it to one single label. The result: a deal with Metal Blade Records.
To those in doubt we can just say: Listen to "Inside The Machine"! The band manages to amazingly combine the technical aspect of death/thrash metal with the catchiness of melodic death metal, immediately winning over fans of both genres.
THIS ENDING are the much-needed kick up the arse for a stagnating scene, while evil enough to give your parents many a sleepless night!(Source: Metal Blade Records)

10.This ending
by Björn Thorsten Jaschinski (21.12.2006) When A Canorous Quintett split up due to the famous musical differences eight years ago this couldn't harm the friendship among the musicians. They all had their own engagements: singer Marten Hansen in October Tide and Sins Of Omission, guitarist Leo in Niden Div. 187. The rest of the Stockholm based troop released two rocking, melodic Death Metal albums with Guidance Of Sin. Drummer Fredrik Andersson should be fully occupied with Amon Amarth, but still, with a demo cd., he laid the foundation for new, common activities. After a mini album and two longplayers in the 90s, this constellation was far from its end! "Inside the machine" sets forth the aggression of the last A Canorous Quintet-album with a modern, cold sound incorporating some samples, too. At the same time, the five polished and loaded their old secret weapons: the irresistible, playful guitar leads and harmonies. The result is a fresh, Swedish Death interpretation without the denial of their own roots, like, e.g. by In Flames.
