In the tremendous Fantasy spectacle, "In the name of the King", fans of fighting action and pompous costumes are perfectly served. What could better improve such a movie than a full load of merciless and, yet, atmospheric Metal? The original soundtrack for the album is provided by Nuclear Blast and they recruited the most powerful acts, including Blind Guardian ("Carry the blessed home"), Pantera ("Cemetary gates"), Amorphis ("The white swan"), HIM ("Wings of a butterfly"), The Darkness ("Dinner lady arms"), Hammerfall ("The fire burns forever") and Nightwish with their hit single, "Amaranth". A moody intro and outro from the film score frame the brave fighters as well as the emotional moments. So get your weapons – it's retaliation time.
