They organized more than 1000 concerts, released 7 studio albums and 3 live albums, played twice at Wacken, the world's greatest metal festival, scored in the German top 10 charts in 2012 with their latest album "Entschuldigung für Nichts" - the amount of the punk band from Rheinberg looks like a do-it-yourself success story. The current album "Traum von Freiheit" was recorded at Principal Studios in Senden/Münsterland with permanent producer Vincent Sorg (Die Toten Hosen, In Extremo, Donots et al.) and was released on 27.02.2015 at Columbia. It hit the album charts from 0 to 11. The Rheinberger's most mature work contains not only the well known punk and rock elements of the past, but also some metal excursions. "We remembered our roots", explains guitar player Frank Vohwinkel their new direction, "and took a special leaf out of our third album "Schwarzes Blut". I think, we hit the musical essence of 'Betontod' with it." With "Ich bereue nichts" a new vinyl EP is released, with 5 previously unreleased punk rock classics, matching with the tour which starts on 23rd October.
