by Lothar Landt (04/99) Tito & Tarantula are cult due to their appearences in splatter comedy strips such as "From Dusk Till Dawn" as Vampire rockers in the Titty Twister. "Hungry Sally & other killer lullabies" is the 2nd album of the quartet and sticks to it's style. Sometimes slow'n'easy, sometimes weird, always bluesy and slightly rocky, that's how T&T created 11 songs which in best Kyuss manner could be described as desert rock. Although "Hungry Saylly..." isn't as obvious as "Tarantism" it's still very suitable for a musical exploration and proves that T&T have the guts for a long career. (Lothar Landt)
