by Fabian Groth (null) After the first album of Creed was published in Germany just a few months ago (in the US, Creed were able to manage an incredible breakthrough two years ago), the European fans of this Grunge-reincarnation already get more of them. Fans of their debut album shouldn't have any problems with the 60-minutes-long "My own prison", because in structure and production, it neatly continues the previous work, that made superstars out those guys from Florida. Heavily groovy guitar riffs (despite the monstrous Metal sounds, some funkyness is included), Scott Stapp's voice - similarly powerful as Pearl Jam's singer Ed Vedder's and - most important - the throughout well-done transformation of all these pieces. Many singalong-refrains are also included. The success seems to be predetermined...
