by Sonja Angerer (25.01.2008) Subtitled "The eeriest tales of ASP so far", this double album compiles the highlights of the "Schwarzer Schmetterling" cycle finally ended in 2007 with "Requiembryo" after eight years. Expensively made up with a 40-page booklet including two new Ingo RΓΆmling-illustrations, it is the complete overview on the eight band years of the four Frankfurt-based Gothic-Novel-Rockers. Many songs, such as "Schwarzer Schmetterling", "Die kleine Ballade vom Schwarzen Schmetterling" and "Once in a lifetime" were re-mastered, many songs (e.g. "Hunger", "Weltunter", "Stille der Nacht") were even completely re-recorded. Furthermore, you get rare material, like the "Horror vacui"-mixes of "Kokon" and "Nie mehr". The album furthermore offers the club-version of "Krabat" and a previously unreleased live-recording of "Tiefenrausch". Only one completely new song was included: "So viel tiefer" is an extremely gloomy epic and a last reverberation of the "Schwarzer Schmetterling".
