The Exploited have become characteristic for the second generation of punk rock together with bands such as G.B.H., CHAOS UK, or DISCHARGE after their commercial success following the first "wave" in 1977. The quartet, with singer and scandal expert WATTIE BUCHAN, presented songs like "Maggie", "No More Idols", "Treat You Like Shit", or "I Hate You" on the straight street punk-dominated album "Horror Epics". Several of these songs are still played in live sets by the Brits. After more than 35 years, the band is considered as one of the most important British punk bands of the second generation.
