by Markus Eck (21.11.2007) Probably only insiders would have expected such dynamic new songs by these four Brits. Still deeply rooted in Hardcore, October File spiced up their new work of evil with icy Industrial- and murder-like, dirty Punk elements. The ten songs stretch over 55 minutes, and "Holy armour from the jaws of god" is among the most unique stuff in heavy music that the genre has seen in years! Often shaped extremely heavy metallic, the highly energetic, British louts provide some a composition on this adventurous album with absolutely incredible rhythms. Yet, if you now instantly expect dull, one-sided pounder orgies, you'll soon be surprised by the fast instrumented, breathtaking composition-roller coasters taking away all your senses. So buckle up, guys, what this lively quartet with guitars and drums bring to life is extremely hitting, blasting and enthusing.
