by Sonja Angerer (null) The Finish Gothic Metal band was on tour with their successful album "Once" for almost one and a half years non stop - not surprising that their fans still have to wait for a new studio-album a bit longer. A best of album of the troop formed in 1997 is supposed to shorten the wait and of course compile the musical oevre for late beginners and latecomers. And it does with hits, like the Gary Moore-Cover, "Over the hills and far away", "Wishmaster" and "The sleeeping sun". But also the early years are finely represented with "Elevenpath" (Angels fall first, 1997), "Stargazers" and "Walking in the air" (Oceanborn, 1998). From "Once" only "Wish I had an angel" has made onto "Highest hopes", even the often played Andrew Lloyd Webber cover, "Phantom of the opera" is missing, unfortunately. Special bonus for fans is the limited-edition including a DVD with the clips "She is my sin", "Dead to the world" and "Kinslayer" on board. (Sonja Angerer - October 2005)
