"Hermitage - Daruma's eyes Pt.2" CD by Temperance

A modern symphonic/melodic metal concept album - with members from Visions of Atlantis and Serenity!

TEMPERANCE, the Italian melodic and symphonic metal formation, will release their seventh studio album Hermitage - Daruma's Eyes Pt. 2 on October 20, 2023. With this, they embark on a new path and present themselves in a new lineup. Alongside trained opera/metal singer and vocal coach Kristin Starkey, the vocal performance by Michele Guaitoli (Visions of Atlantis) and mastermind Marco Pastorino (Serenity) reaches new heights, complemented by brilliant guest musicians such as multi-talent Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon), singer Alessandro Conti (Twilight Force), and the two vocalists Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie, Illumishade) and Laura Fella (Faun).

After the release of their album Diamanti in 2021 and this year's successful European Tour with Tarja (ex-Nightwish), TEMPERANCE is ready to start a new chapter! In addition to founding member and bassist Luca Negro, the quintet is completed by the versatile voice of Kristin Starkey and Marco Sacchetto on drums.

Hermitage - Daruma's Eyes Pt. 2 tells the story of the protagonist Viktor, who wakes up in the enchanted place of Hermitage through a magical Japanese Doll named Daruma, and gradually unravels its secrets and intrigues through 14 tracks. With captivating riffs from multi-instrumentalist Arjen Lucassen and catchy beats, the album opener 'Daruma' creates unforgettable soundscapes. Followed by 'Welcome To Hermitage,' the fairytale atmosphere is reinforced by flutes, chimes elements, and the outstanding contribution of Fabienne Erni and Laura Fella, firmly planting itself in the minds of fans. While 'No Return' shines in a rock symphonic guise and is complemented by symphonic heights, TEMPERANCE once again demonstrate their versatility on 'Join Me,' merging breathtaking harmonies with epic compositions. 'Darkness Is Just A Drawing' reveals the band's trademark with grand harmonies, while 'Full Of Memories' accentuates the concept album with epic orchestrations and dynamic melodies.
