by Matthias Mineur (null) Just one question: Aren't all Overkill albums Best of-albums? Have there been any releases by the Americans which offered less than the best? Okay, "Hello from the gutter" is supposed to offer the best of the best on 2 CDs. Of course, you get all the classics of the band history, plus thrilling live versions of "Hello from the gutter", "Electro-Violence", "Elimination", "World of hurt", "Skullcrusher" and "Bastard nation". In addition to that we have the coverversion of "Overkill" (Motörhead) and "Never say die" (Black Sabbath). Together with the 16 regular Overkill tracks it all adds up to 100 minutes playing time at a single CD price. I don't have any idea what Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth's intention was to do his fans so much good. Nevertheless, I'd like to emphasize that instead of "Hello from the gutter" one might as well buy the whole Overkill back catalogue of the band. Might be a bit more expensive but also more pleasing.
