The re-release of Neil Young's album Harvest Moon from 1992 in a Limited Edition on clear double Vinyl is starting.
This special 2LP pressing of the platinum-certified and Juno Album of the Year awarded album will be released on September 22nd and includes 10 tracks on three Vinyl sides - as well as an etching on side four.
When Neil Young released his album 'HARVEST MOON' in Germany on October 27, 1992, he was on the verge of a round anniversary in two respects: It was his 19th studio album and was released nearly 25 years after his self-titled debut album on Reprise Records. But Neil Young didn't need round anniversaries back then to make an impression on people's minds. It was already clear that he belonged to a select group of artists and songwriters who had a lasting influence on modern music.
Like many of Young's works, 'HARVEST MOON' has inspired the imagination of the audience in its own unique way. This certainly also applies in terms of appearance to the upcoming (September 22nd) Vinyl reissue of the album, which was pressed as a three-sided double album on clear colored Vinyl and is therefore a special eye-catcher. Not to mention listening to it: Recorded with analog equipment using digital technology, the album includes songs like 'From Hank to Hendrix,' 'Unknown Legend,' and 'One of These Days' - a unique rock 'n' roll set that, like so many Young albums, found fans of all ages. It's no wonder Neil Young has been one of the most influential artists in his genre for over 30 years.
