(we rock this city, we rock this country for you) – already with their first song, the easy "Rocken", the four guys in Jenson make clear what they are up for in the next 47 minutes of their debut album. Loud, fast and with high energies, they deliver an album that should please every fan of German Rock. The clever lyrics should especially appeal to fans of the Sportfreunde Stiller and Madsen. Musically, they go the thin line between the cool high energy attitude in "Großstadtschmutz", prudish Punk Rock-attitude in "Viva la revolution" and edgy Pop in "Zweisam einsam", without ever drifting too far in either of these genres. In the atmospheric closer, "Traum vom Fliegen", the guys shift a gear back, on the rest of the album they spped it up mercilessly. A great album that will hopefully find its acknowledgement.
