The modern metalcore band MAVIS, consisting of vocalist Phil Donay, guitarist Manu Weller, bassist Mo Amrein, and drummer Jakob Schulz-Klein, announced their signing with the scene heavyweight ARISING EMPIRE and have new music on the way!
After the highly successful start within the metalcore community with their first three singles in 2020, the band from southern Germany will soon have new music in their repertoire.
'Tortured Land' is the name of their first new song, which will be released through Arising Empire. Just like on their EP from 2020, MAVIS combines uncompromising hardness with heartfelt, powerful lyrics in an almost theatrical package. The highly emotional and dynamic vocal performance by Phil Donay shows that the band has taken a big step forward from their previous material and is in the process of raising the stakes even further.
