Opeth have found their very own style and can better be related to pictures like a foggy forest or with the intense colours of autumn. "Ghost reveries" may be less gloomy than its predecessors, still there is this certain Death Metal spirit upon the very progressive and psychedelic songs. This unique masterpiece has been released more than one year ago and is now being re-released as a Special Deluxe Digipack Edition including a DVD. The regular album was enriched by the extravagant cover version of the Deep Purple classic "Soldier of fortune". The DVD contains a 40-minute documentation about the production of "Ghost reveries", compiled for the band's own recordings. Sound fetishists furthermore get the complete album in as 5.1 Surround and DTS Mix version. The worthy re-release is rounded off by the video clips for "The grand conjuration". This album is a must-have for every serious collection. Now at the latest you should order your copy!
