by Juergen Tschamler (04.10.2006) Since Children Of Bodom become more important in the scene with every new album, it makes sense to re-release the first records of the Finns adding all sorts of bonus material. "Follow the reaper", e.g., further features the two cover versions of "Hellion"(Judas Priest) and "Aces high" (Iron Maiden) as well as the cool video for "Everytime I die". Furthermore, the cover artwork is supposed to be completely reworked - which I cannot certify because I only received a CD-R copy. Also the sound was redone. With this album the Finns kicked off. Hits such as "Hate me", "Follow the reaper" and the great "Bodom after midnight" are in the meantime the highlights of a Children Of Bodom show. Already with this album, Alexi and Co. proved that they would be playing premier league soon. If you don't own this elemental piece of Metal yet, you won't get by this re-release.
