by Andreas Reissnauer (04.07.2007) Three years after their Roadrunner-debut, "Advance and vanguish", the True Metallers of 3 Inches Of Blood are finally back. The guys amazed with an energetic mixture of Grave Digger, Judas Priest, Running Wild and Exciter added by bloodcurdling high vocals as well as the contrasting Death Metal-roars. The same trademarks can also be found on the new album of the Canadians, supplementary a stronger trend towards Iron Maiden than in the past can be observed. As a result, the eleven songs (plus intro/outro) are musically more diverse and consequently more matured. One might be missing a top hit, of the "Deadly sinners"-calibre, but as a whole, the album is much more compact and simply better! 3 Inches Of Blood is still a must for all fans of powerful Heavy Metal and definitely more than a mayfly. Check it out!
