Tool were founded in 1990 and have released four multi-platinum studio albums to date: 'Undertow' (1993), 'Ænima' (1996), 'Lateralus' (2001) and '10,000 Days' (2006), two EPs: '72826' (1991) and 'Opiate' (1992) as well as the limited boxset 'Salival' (2000). The band have won three Grammy awards so far: 'Best Metal Performance' for 'Ænima' (1998), 'Best Metal Performance' for 'Schism' (2002) and 'Best Recording Package' for '10,000 Days' (2007). Tool are Danny Carey (drums), Justin Chancellor (bass), Adam Jones (guitar) and Maynard James Keenan (vocals).
